For more than 25 years, we’ve supported hundreds of individuals with their transition into independent lives of their design.

College

Designed for autistic and neurodiverse young adults seeking a comprehensive educational and living experience to prepare for independent life and career readiness. 

Life Skills for Independent Living

Our College Program is a transformative 3-year experience designed for young adults, ages 18-26. Here, you'll develop crucial independent living skills, helping you thrive in daily life. Imagine learning in a supportive community that values your unique talents and abilities. Our hands-on approach includes experiential learning, offering you real-world knowledge, vocational skills, and a network of lasting friendships.

Employment Development and Training

The curriculum includes vocational education and technical training where you can gain a certificate in Workplace Readiness along with your choice of a certificate in:
  • Culinary,
  • Retail / Hospitality, or
  • Health / Human Services.

​Our partnership with Century College ensures you receive the best vocational training. Whether you're preparing for your first job or advancing your career, we're here to help you succeed.

Support Beyond Graduation

Your journey with MICC doesn't end at graduation; it continues as you embrace life in the community you've worked so hard to develop. Graduates have access to continued support to ensure long-term independence. We provide person-centered social and emotional support, health and wellness services, career services, and ongoing independent living skills development.

Careers

Focused on equipping autistic and neurodiverse adults with the skills, certifications, and support necessary for meaningful employment, the Careers Program is here to offer vocational education and technical training.

Participants have the flexibility to enroll in one or both courses, depending on their career goals. Each program is crafted to offer:
  • Accredited, industry-relevant skills training.
  • Personalized support for job exploration.
  • A steppingstone to independence and success in the workforce.​

Summer

MICC Summer offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your independence journey. Combining the best of what MICC provides with expert staff from our comprehensive College program, it's a summer experience like no other. Summer offers a dynamic and supportive environment for neurodiverse teens and young adults aged 16-24 to explore their potential, build confidence, and learn introductory life and job skills.
